Hungry or choosy?

“Hungry or choosy?”

Are you hungry, or choosy? The distinction is important. Often, we may think we are hungry for something, whether it's food or opportunities, but when presented with options, we realize we are actually being choosy. Just like my daughters who sometimes claim to be hungry but then reject specific dishes or snacks -- “I’m not hungry for THAT” --, we may believe we are hungry for success or new experiences, but then turn down opportunities that come our way. To truly be hungry, we must be willing to take a bite out of life and seize the opportunities that present themselves, rather than being overly selective. The key is to know the difference: Where in your life are you being choosy when you think you're being hungry?
